Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.
The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.
Responsibilities
- Member of the team responsible for the delivery of the Group's financial statements
- Responsible for the monthly financial accounts closing process for the Bank and Group
- Responsible for the preparation, review and analysis of the Group's financial performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements as well as Group accounting policies
- Responsible for the preparation of the year-end statutory accounts and other financial information as required by the relevant authorities,
- Participate in the review of accounting treatment and financial disclosures of the Group's products and services
- Participate in Finance project initiatives which involve process reviews, system enhancements and new system inplementation
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong in SFRS / IFRS technical knowledge
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven success in staff management
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Office 365 and financial management systems
