Job Description
1. Programme Design and Implementation
- Manage student engagement activities (e.g., Reintegration, Catalyst, After-School).
- Organize meaningful after-school activities.
- Develop holiday programmes to sustain student engagement.
2. Student Supervision and Support
- Supervise students for safety and positive interactions.
- Guide students in building peer relationships and social-emotional skills.
- Monitor participation and coordinate with school staff on non-participation.
3. Mentoring and Guidance
- Mentor students on goal-setting, academic support, and SEL competencies.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop relevant skills and values.
4. Resource Management and Activity Preparation
- Prepare necessary materials for engagement activities.
- Involve students in maintaining the after-school engagement space.
5. Monitoring and Reporting
- Conduct termly evaluations and collect student feedback.
- Provide updates on participation and programme impact.
- Ensure adherence to the school's code of conduct.
6. Collaboration with School Personnel
- Collaborate with staff for follow-up support and community resource connections.
- Assist with school-wide initiatives for holistic student development.
7. Review and Improvement
- Review the engagement programme at the academic year's end and suggest improvements.
Job Requirement
- Diploma, degree, or relevant certification from recognized local or international institutions or certification boards in: Social Work, Psychology, Education, Youth Work or Related fields
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth.
