What you will be working on
The Frontier Products Team is a modern team focused on developing software products that aim to make CPF Board and Government as a whole work better. We work entirely on the cloud using cloud-native technologies. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with this dynamic and fun-loving team and contribute to our efforts to make CPF Board more like a tech company.
In this role, you will:
. Engage a variety of stakeholders - from internal staff to ordinary citizens - to make product insights
. Articulate design decisions to Development Team and other stakeholders
. Develop prototypes (low fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups)
. Work with developers to turn designs into working products
. Work in a cross disciplinary team with Development Team and Product Managers
What we are looking for
We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.
. Strong empathy for the user
. Ability to switch modes between working independently and as a team
. Experience with Figma is a plus
Position is on a full-time internship basis from Jan - June 2025.
