3rd Engineer (Deck)

The 3rd Engineer (Deck) is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment related to lay deck operations whilst on shift, under the direction of the senior shift officer as well as assisting in engine room activities as required. All personnel are expected to contribute to a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices. The 3rd Engineer (Deck) is expected to contribute to a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
We are seeking candidates who want to understand the environment in which we operate in and support effective delivery of our offshore projects, building effective and trusting two-way relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a desire to develop yourself, building individual effectiveness and capability to change and deliver.
Applicants will need relevant academic qualifications or evidence of having completed an appropriate apprenticeship or similar compliant with the STCW Code III/1. They should also hold at all times a valid Seafarer Medical Fitness or equivalent as well as an Offshore Survival certificate suitable for geographical area of work.
