Driver cum Warehouse Assistant
- Location: Tuas
- Salary: $2500 - $2,800 + OT
- Working days: Monday - Friday
- Working hours: 8:30am - 4.30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide transportation service for company staff from designated pick-up points to workplace and vice versa.
- To provide transport services to company guests, directors, principals, etc. as and when assigned.
- Handle and manage timely delivery of scheduled items/goods to customers.
- Ensure the maintenance of company vehicle, to be in good working conditions
- Responsible to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the company vehicle
- Carry out spare parts order processes.
- Picking and binning of spare parts & proper storage of engines / machines.
- Ensure and check the quality of all incoming engines, spare parts, alternators, components received from vendors with the proper documentation for GRN purposes.
- Report defects, shortages, discrepancies to superior and submit the necessary warranty claim process accordingly.
- Ensure the correctness of quantity and quality of all outgoing orders.
- Ensure parts orders are processed correctly in a timely manner.
- Tracking of sales order, parts movement and update sales personnel on backlogs and/or addressing expired sales orders.
- Carry out the process of returned goods from customers and submit the returned goods form for further corrective actions.
- Ensure and maintain the warehouse cleanliness at all times.
- Report to superior on the security aspect of the warehouse including but not limited to parts storage, fire hazards, and personnel safety.
- Carry out regular cycle count and annual stock taking activities.
- Work together with superior to plan inventory for spare parts stock level, and make recommendation for parts obsolescence program, provision and write off.
- Ensure and carry out duties with proper PPE, personal behaviour, workplace safety, work performances, and individual cleanliness.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required by the Management
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess Class 3 and 4 driving licenses and forklift operator licenses.
