6723 - Marine Service Engineer [ URGENT |Shipyard / Anchorage Environment ]

Location: Tuas, Work on site (sea)

Working Days: 8am-5pm / 8.30am-5.30pm / 9am-6pm

Basic Salary: $3500 - $4000 + AWS+ Variable Bonus + Medical Benefits + Transport Allowances

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform the repair, maintenance or overhaul of marine diesel engines 2 & 4 stroke under supervision of Engineer / Technicians.
• Comply with all the requirements to carry out the jobs in the shipyards or anchorages.
• Lifting and shifting heavy components of engine back to workshop for repair / recondition and vice-versa.
• Ensure prompt response and smooth communication with the customers
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Operation Manager

Job Requirements:

• DEGREE in marine / mechanical / engineering qualification
• At least 3 years of related experience as Marine Service Engineer.
• Hands-on experiences in trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair is an added advantage
• Prefer someone with maintenance experience in marine engine makers like MAN and Wartsila
• Training period at office (Tuas), after training will work on vessel.
• Willing to work in shipyard / anchorage environment
