Position: GCEA Level General Paper and English Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated GCE A Level Genral Paper and English Teacher to join our academic team at Allstars. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a strong commitment to helping students excel in their A Level General Paper and English studies, particularly in language analysis, literary criticism, and writing techniques. This role offers the opportunity to engage and inspire students as they prepare for rigorous examinations while enhancing their analytical and communication skills, critical for success in A Level General Paper and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive instruction in A Level English, including language analysis, literary criticism, and effective writing techniques.
- Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans aligned with the A Level curriculum and examination objectives.
- Provide individualized academic support to students, ensuring they strengthen their English proficiency and prepare thoroughly for A Level exams, including the General Paper.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and academic guidance to optimize performance.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with both students and parents regarding academic progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development, actively participate in school events, teacher training sessions, and contribute to academic discussions.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, or a closely related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience teaching GCEA Level English, with a deep understanding of the curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of GCEA Level General Paper requirements and exam preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage students in critical thinking and writing.
- International educational experience and cross-cultural communication skills are an advantage.
- Possession of a recognized teaching certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
