Responsibilities:
- Handle import and export shipment processing & arrangement.
- Must be well versed in shipping & business documents as well as their terminology in particular: L/C, B/L, D/O, switch B/L process, incoterms, invoice, PO.
- Coordination with various parties, including customers, suppliers, overseas agents, forwarders relating to shipment clearance, delivery and collection.
- Maintaining records of:
- Warehouse stock level & place order timely.
- Company product information in an organized manner.
- Accounts receivable/ payable to generate reports.
- Have working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, accounting software, digital archive procedures).
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirement:
- Minimum Higher Certificate in Logistics Management or equivalent.
- No formal education background are welcome to apply
- Must have minimum 5-7 years relevant experience with shipping/ freight forwarding/document.
- Prior experience in air freight/ sea freight/ trucking assignments will be highly favoured.
- Able to read, write and communicate in both English and Chinese.
- Analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently, work independently with minimal supervision. Skilled in phone communication with various parties as described above.
