As an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager, your primary responsibilities encompass:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all managed accounts, offering daily guidance and handling issues with composure.
* Lead and supervise projects, work plans, and on-ground logistics for events and client programs.
* Maintain a clear understanding of the agreed scope of work, hours, and expected deliverables.
* Manage expectations internally and externally.
* Continuously seek ways to enhance the value provided to clients and their businesses.
* Define clear roles and responsibilities for team members.
* Ensure the right people are involved at the appropriate times.
* Manage the team, optimising talent and resources for satisfactory service delivery according to client agreements and deadlines.
* Understand vertical and horizontal industries, exploring opportunities for cross-industry collaborations.
* Develop effective case studies to showcase team accomplishments.
* Develop robust Public Relations and Social Media strategies and plans, specifying deliverables and deadlines.
* Ability to create messaging documents, assist in media training, and provide strategic counsel based on media coverage analysis.
* Identify projects and new business opportunities among existing clients.
* Search for additional opportunities among existing clients and agency partners.
* Collaborate with the team on proposals for newly identified opportunities.
* Take a lead role in certain aspects of new business negotiations and closures.
* Understand the local media and influencer landscape thoroughly.
* Possess a working understanding of the media landscape in APAC.
* Maintain strong connections with media and key influencers relevant to your practice.
* Share new learnings, skills, or knowledge gained through official/unofficial training sessions.
* Attend industry events to network and enhance connectivity for increased productivity.
Requirements:
* 4 to 6 years of experience in the communications industry, including agency-side experience.
* Entrepreneurial attitude with a positive outlook on the business.
* Mature individual with a passion for the communications industry and Public Relations.
* Analytical and logical mindset with a passion for high-quality client service and delivery.
