Position Summary
This role is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. It entails high degree of relationship management and functional expertise to drive adoption and expansion of our services across LSEG (Data & Analytics) offerings.
The candidate is expected to be hands-on - personally getting involved in deals, meeting clients, network across the assigned book of business and actively participate in marketing events.
The individual will be additionally responsible for creating and executing sales strategies, providing forecasts and business updates to internal stakeholders, as well as collaborating with other client facing, product and marketing leaders.
Role Responsibilities
Achieve and beat the sales/cancellations/net growth/revenue targets for the given book of business.
Lead and manage large renewal conversations.
Create, communicate, and execute sales strategies.
Collaborate with other sales, customer success managers and product stakeholders.
Actively contribute to client engagements and help open and close deals.
Be the SME on the book of business
Desired skills and experience
10+ years experience in a client facing role, with direct sales experience in financial sector a strong plus.
Deep Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience coordinating with various business functions to own the growth of a business.
Strong negotiation skills
