Job Description
. Responsible for ensuring accounting records, policies and procedures in compliance with latest IFRS requirements.
. Leading all accounting related efforts including but not limited to fixed assets and inventory, cash and bank reconciliations, accounts receivables and payables reconciliation with customers and vendors, inter-company balances and transactions.
. Manage month-end, audit and statutory closing, as well as forecast and budgeting.
. Monthly reports preparation and presentation.
. Partnering with the Controlling team to gather information needed for financial planning and analysis related matters.
. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (eg. Auditors, tax agents, 3rd party accountants) on tax and statutory reporting matters.
. Streamline internal processes, improve efficiency and controls.
. Respond to queries from APAC Management or Global Finance.
. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
. Accounting Degree and CPA/CA qualified with at least 10 years of working experience
. Hands-on, resilient and able to work with stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds across the region.
. Strong communication skills with good knowledge in IFRS and tax regulations.
. Technically competent, meticulous, able to work under tight datelines in a fast-paced environment.
. Exceptional numerical and analytical skills
. Detailed understanding of finance processes and proven track record in delivering finance processes streamlining and standardization.
. Knowledge in SAP Hana
. Willing to travel
