Our client is a growing logistics specialist with operations across 10 countries in Asia Pacific. Its businesses include investment management, sourcing land or facilities and undertaking development and asset management, on behalf of some of the world's leading global real estate investors.
The Role
This role reports to Assistant Finance Manager and support the overall Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly/quarterly/annual financial results.
- Be responsible and accountable for ensuring accuracy of accounting records, management reporting and statutory reports for standalone entities.
- Be responsible for full set of accounts (AP,AR and GL).
- Close the month end, including processing of month end journals and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly and annual consolidated management and statutory financial reports and ensure reporting deadline set by the Group is met.
- Oversee the GST returns, WHT reporting and preparation of the FATCA and CRS returns.
- Prepare bank reconciliation and cashflow reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Liaise closely with the Property Manager Finance Department to ensure operations are run smoothly.
- Liaise with both internal and external parties including tenants, suppliers, the group finance, investors, bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and regulators.
- Ensure that systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in providing training of accounting system to new staff within Finance and other departments.
Your Profile
- Candidate must possess at least a degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of working experience in similar position.
- Preferably has experience in Yardi, SAP or Oracle accounting system and Real Estate knowledge.
- Highly numerate and IT literate in MS Office.
- An eye for details and high level of professional discipline.
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proactive and willing to look for ways to improve processes and procedures.
- Highly flexible and adaptable ina changing and demanding environment.
