Salary: $4000- $4700
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Take charge of full month-end closing and consolidation for a business unit, with support from an Account Executive and an outsourced team.
- Assist in group account closing, working closely with the Finance Manager.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with FRS standards, company policies, and internal control procedures.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations, GST submissions, and support audits and statutory filings.
- Participate in lease management and exciting ad-hoc projects.
- Support updates to SOPs for accounting policies.
- Perform other accounting duties as required.
What You'll Bring (Requirements)
- Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA), or working towards it.
- Ideally 4-6 years of accounting experience, though we're open to those eager to learn and grow.
- Working knowledge in handling a full set of accounts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a passion for automating processes and eliminating inefficiencies.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Open-minded, adaptable, and collaborative.
- Experience in service-related industries is a bonus but not required.
