Overview:
This position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the organization. Reporting to the Finance Director, Global Operations, this is a critical business partner to the local stakeholders which encompasses global manufacturing, procurement, materials, facilities, supply chain / logistics, quality, R&D, tax, treasury and corporate reporting.
Responsibilities:
Assist in financial close activities, reviewing journals, accruals, journals, cross charges, schedules preparations/reconciliations etc.
Manage intercompany transactions.
Ensure timely completion of corporate reporting, government statistics and others.
Responsible for GST reporting, capital asset and lease accounting.
Assist with audits, tax matters, providing support and documentations.
Assist with cashflow management including cross border payments and receipts.
Develop and document work instructions and processes.
Participate in projects as appropriate.Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance/accounting or ACCA and 5+ years of progressive, relevant experience, preferably with some years in an audit firm.
Working knowledge of GST.
Experience with SAP, Blackline, advanced Microsoft Excel, and Analysis for Office.
Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills (verbal and written).
Comfortable with Matrix reporting structure and US MNC.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Organized, structured thinker with ability to handle multiple assignments, work flexible hours and consolidate and analyze/interpret information/data from multiple, disparate sources.
Ability to work independently, guide and collaborate with fellow team members.Company Description:
