As an Accounting Associate, you will work closely with the members of the Accounting team and other clients service team to deliver financial reports and information on time. You get to work with a team of talents locally and overseas to fulfil client request. You will be required to use accounting software and system such as Xero and have a firm understanding of basic accounting principals.
Preparing a full set of financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) for SME clients
- Providing bookkeeping, accounting, tax computation and tax filing services to clients in accordance to local legal regulations and requirements
Proving prompt accounting support to clients- Supporting the digital transformation of clients finance function
Provide training to clients on proper usage of Xero and related applications
- Reconcile transactions in Xero to provide regular management reports to clients
Work closely with fellow statutory compliance team members to support Corporate Tax and GST filings (Form C-S and ECI)- Perform simple tax computation as well as accounting for GST companies
Assist management, together with various departments in driving continuous improvement in internal processes and controls
- Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Higher Nitec in Accountancy or ACCA or other related courses
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in related fields
Experience in managing multiple projects/ engagements with short deadlines- Proficient in Xero as an accounting system to handle bookkeeping, financial statement preparation and tax filing
Implement Xero for clients as well as to provide basic training to educate client on the usage of Xero
- Good working knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations
CRM softwares experience will be beneficial
