Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
Perform essential bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and conducting bank reconciliations.
Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.
Prepare financial reports and support budget tracking and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with external accountants for tax preparation and financial audits.
Monitor and track expenses to ensure they align with company budgets, providing insights for cost management.
General Support:
Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed by management, adapting to the evolving needs of a startup environment.
Contribute to improving bookkeeping processes and procedures continuously, suggesting and implementing best practices.
Support the team in streamlining operations and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
