Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
- Verify and reconcile supplier statements.
- Prepare and send out customer invoices.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and manage debt collection.
Bank Reconciliations:
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Input financial data into accounting software.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
Payroll Assistance:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Expense Management:
- Track and reconcile company expenses.
- Ensure all expenses are authorized and appropriately documented.
Support for Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
General Administrative Duties:
- Handle routine administrative tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
- Assist in office management tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is preferred
- Relevant Accounting certifications are a plus
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a relevant job role is advantageous
- Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (especially Excel)

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Awareness of industry-specific financial practices is advantageous.
