ABOUT THE ROLE Join our dynamic team as an Accountant. This is a full-time role based in Singapore and reports to the HR Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for GL, AP and AR
- Responsible for the monthly bank reconciliation and fixed assets schedule
- Responsible for cash flow, bank reconciliations
- Responsible for staff claims reimbursement
- Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly GST
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaising with auditor
- Maintain balance sheet, P&L sheets
- Prepare and generate related invoices and credit notes timely with use of PAL system
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable and payments and maintain billing system.
- Appreciate, understand, and execute the entire chain of account end to end (i.e. from shippers invoicing/payment to customer invoicing/payments till Audit).
- Liaise with insurance agencies for all insurance matters along with HR
- Establish relationship with overseas team members
- Adhoc administration duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least a Degree/ACCA in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this
- position.
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Possess good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Team player with ability to work independently and well-organised.
- An eye for detail, meticulous, an inquisitive mind and adaptable.
