Job Description

Develop detailed designs and specifications for HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
Create and review blueprints, schematics, and system layout.
Select appropriate mechanical equipment and components based on system requirements and performance criteria.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical and structural engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
Oversee the installation of HVAC systems to ensure they are installed according to design specifications and industry standards.
Conduct system commissioning to verify that all components are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in HVAC systems to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation.
Design systems with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Evaluate and recommend energy-saving solutions and technologies to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Ensure that HVAC systems comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Address any safety concerns related to the mechanical aspects of HVAC systems.
Manage HVAC projects from conception through to completion, including budget management, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and suppliers.
Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase.
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical support.
Provide training and documentation for system operation and maintenance.
Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in HVAC systems.
