Job description
- Support office maintenance in terms of administration and coordination with building management/landlord
- Handle office/warehouse administrative duties and any other ad hoc duties assigned.
- Daily/weekly internal report
- Information research on local employment practices with MOM, CPF and SFA. Familiar with relevant processes with government bodies to ensure the company complies with local rules and regulations
- Processing of customer orders during each outbound e.g., change in farmer, reorder/reallocation of shortage items, not limited to processing delivery orders and sales invoices during each outbound
- Upload of customer/vendor invoices to XERO and ensuring high level of accuracy during payment reconciliation by Finance
- Liaising with Finance to ensure all payments are reconciled on a timely basis before emailing SOA to customers via XERO
- Liaise with salesperson(s) to follow up with customers on overdue payments
- Sales support tasks e.g. processing of any sample requests, reorder of shortage items, creation of new customer accounts in system etc.
- Liaise with local suppliers to procure for customer orders each outbound and ensure deliveries are in time
- Liaise with SFA for local inspection of all food items via website portal or WhatsApp
- Generate delivery list during each outbound and liaising with all logistic parties involved for delivery and SFA matters
- HR matters pertaining to CPF payment and posting of job advertisements on CareersFuture or Jobstreet when required
- Handle any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management
What we are looking for
- Proven 3 years of logistics/administrative background with basic bookkeeping knowledge would be preferred
- Work experience in a start-up is highly preferred.
- Familiar with the Singapore Employment Act, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, and Word)
- Familiar with accounting systems like XERO would be a plus.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and decision-making.
