We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team, specializing in chiller maintenance and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in servicing chillers and related HVAC systems, demonstrating strong technical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Chiller Maintenance & Chiller Commissioning Work
. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding chiller operations and maintenance.
. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
. Educate clients on proper operation and maintenance practices to extend the lifespan of their chiller systems.
. Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining service activities, findings, and recommendations for future improvements.
. Execute commissioning processes for new chiller installations, ensuring systems are installed correctly and functioning as designed.
. Collaborate with MHI agent, customer and contractors to verify system performance and compliance with specifications.
. Foster a collaborative working relationship with contractors, encouraging teamwork and shared problem-solving.
. Work closely with the contractor to share knowledge, improve processes, and enhance overall service delivery.
. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing service tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
. Conduct safety briefings and ensure all parties understand their responsibilities regarding safety.
. May involve working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
. Field-based role with travel to client sites.
. Available to respond to chiller breakdown calls during assigned standby shifts.
Requirements
. Diploma and Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
. Proven experience in chiller maintenance, commissioning, or related HVAC roles (3-5 year).
. Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems, HVAC principles, and
. electrical controls.
. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
. . Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
. Building Construction Supervisors Safety Courses.
