Responsibilities for air conditioning mechanic
- Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and performs preventative maintenance on refrigerators, freezers and ice machines, including those utilized for patient food and drugs, laboratory specimens and blood products
- Takes and records all temperatures and pressures throughout the system
- Monitors and adjusts sites via intranet
- Cleans firesides
- Cleans condenser coils
- Tests refrigeration units for leaks
- Monitors valves and gauges to ensure proper operation
- Theory of Electronics and Software Programming, Specific to an refrigeration cycles and elements
- Troubleshooting (Electronic Equipment), Specific to an industrial commercial air conditional systems
- Knowledge of Equipment, Assembly, Installation, Repair
- Must be able to work night shift or split shift
- Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed
