Manage specifically all SG operations as applicable to QSTAT requirement ensuring compliance to all agreed company policies, procedures and pricing structures.
Develop and implement customer focused operational policies and procedures.
Ensure the achievement and maintenance of agreed operations / CS service levels and standards.
Liaise with company senior management to support and implement growth strategies.
Manage and distribute weekly / monthly and quarterly reporting to the senior team specific to SG activity.
Work with the network team to enhance, develop and implement growth strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability within SG.
Ensure budget requirements are met as applicable.
To manage the training of all applicable designates & service partners ensuring their ability to manage all tasks.
To ensure Network / Vendor partner compliance to all agreed company policies, procedures and pricing structures.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years Experience within a Specialist (Biopharm) Courier organization to a supervisory / manager level.
GDP Training and Qualifications specific to transportation.
Industry Management / Industry Experience ensuring ability to meet all tasks / responsibilities listed above and with qualifications as noted below.
Experienced Apple Mac user and with Apple Mac software.
Global working experience - at minimum having working experience of at least 1 year in either/both UK / US
Full knowledge and experience of NFO and time critical logistics operations essential.
Excellent understanding of Specialist Courier / Freight Operations including Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport.
Excellent understanding of Regional & World Geography. Specific knowledge of Clinical Trial Logistics to include: - Temperature Controlled Shipping and packaging.
Clinical Trial Courier Operations and client set up.
Broad understanding of regulatory requirements specific to Clinical Trial Logistics.
Reverse logistics.
Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
Teamwork skills and strong self-motivation ability.
