Key Learning Objectives:
1. Technical Foundations
- Learn the structure, variability, and challenges of biomedical data (e.g., noise, drift, motion artifacts).
- Acquire foundational skills in biomedical signal processing, feature extraction, and machine learning approaches.
2. Algorithm Development
- Design and implement algorithms for biomedical data pre-processing, classification, or trend detection.
- Apply filtering, noise reduction, and adaptive methods suitable for continuous or real-time sensing.
3. Data Validation and Analysis
- Evaluate algorithm performance using metrics such asaccuracy, sensitivity, and robustness.
- Conduct validation using experimental or prototypedata
- Compare algorithmic approaches to identify optimalmethods for specific biomedical targets.
4. Document and communicate development progress
- Present technical findings through written reports, presentations, or demonstration prototypes.
Intern's Responsibilities:
- Assist in data handling
- Support algorithm development
- Run experiments & document results
- Review relevant literature, summarize findings and propose ideas for improvement
- Ensure code and data management standards
Training and Development:

- Technical and Research Training: Biomedical Data Processing Fundamental, Algorithm Design and Machine Learning, Data Validation and Evaluation Techniques
- Software tools: git for version control
- Soft skills: agile project workflow, documentation & reporting, literature (papers/patents) review skills
