Role Overview:
We are looking for a Property Market Analyst who is analytical, data-driven, and passionate about real estate trends. This role involves analyzing market data, identifying opportunities, and providing insights that support business decisions, marketing strategies, and client advisories. You will be integral in helping us understand the evolving property landscape in Singapore and guide strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on Singapore's property market, including trends, pricing, transaction volumes, and regulatory developments.
- Data Interpretation: Analyze and interpret data from various sources (e.g., URA, HDB, PropertyGuru) to generate insights and reports that inform business decisions.
- Forecasting: Develop market forecasts, identifying potential investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and growth sectors.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, products, and pricing strategies, providing insights that can be used to refine Hippo Prop's competitive positioning.
- Client Advisory: Provide agents and property buyers with accurate data insights, reports, and presentations that enhance their understanding of the property market.
- Strategy Support: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and management teams to refine strategies based on market data, helping to align business goals with market realities.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations that track market performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Trend Spotting: Stay up-to-date with economic indicators, demographic shifts, and other factors influencing the property market, offering timely insights.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in property analysis, real estate consultancy, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or other business intelligence software.
- Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research, interpret complex data, and present findings in a clear and actionable format.
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Singapore property market, including residential, commercial, and HDB sectors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
