As an IBM Planning Analytics Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing effective solutions, and implementing optimization strategies using IBM Planning Analytics. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to enhance business processes and ensure seamless project delivery. You will guide developers, provide testing and defect resolution support, and deliver training to end-users while adhering to best practices in enterprise performance management (EPM).
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis and Solution Design
- Analyze business requirements and design robust solutions using IBM Planning Analytics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and provide optimization recommendations based on data analysis.
- Leverage Business Process Design and related tools to drive project success.
Project Development and Testing
- Provide guidance to developers in building and unit testing solutions.
- Develop comprehensive test cases and test scripts for various testing phases.
- Address and resolve defects raised during the testing phase.
Client Engagement and Support
- Lead customer-facing activities, including requirements gathering, functional design, system configuration, testing, and user training.
- Advise clients on leading business solutions and industry best practices.
- Deliver functional and technical designs based on client requirements.
Mandatory Skills
IBM Planning Analytics Expertise
- 5 to 6 years of experience as an IBM Planning Analytics consultant.
- Proficiency in understanding business processes, gathering requirements, proposing solutions, and designing/building implementations.
Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in EPM tools and frameworks.
Planning Tool Expertise
- Exposure to planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Jedox, or Adaptive Planning is acceptable with the opportunity to reskill in IBM PA.
IBM PA and Related Tools
- Familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics and its integration into enterprise environments.
