Android Mobile App Developer
We are looking for an experienced Android Mobile App Developer with a strong background in Kotlin and expertise in the MVVM architectural pattern. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Android framework components, agile development methodologies, and version control systems like Git. You will work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, iOS developers, and technical leads to deliver top-quality mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Android applications.
- Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement APIs.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers and iOS developers to create consistent user journeys and seamless experiences across platforms.
- Deliver app modules on time while ensuring quality and performance.
- Conduct functional testing, build UAT releases, and prepare production-ready builds.
- Collaborate with end users to identify and fix bugs, ensuring smooth user experiences.
- Proactively contribute to technical discussions, offering solutions for design and implementation challenges.
- Manage code versioning using Git and ensure clean and maintainable code.
- Adapt to agile methodologies, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin.
- Familiarity with MVVM application design patterns and Android framework components.
- Familiarity with Restful API design.
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and Git for version control tool such as Azure DevOps
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UI/UX designers, and iOS developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Ability to perform feature feasibility study and build proof of concept.
- Experience in delivering UAT and production builds and providing timely bug fixes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
