Job Description
This role will be based in Singapore. You will report to the APAC GTM Finance Senior Director and engage in strategic projects and analysis for ServiceNow APAC.
We are seeking someone with a consulting, investment banking, or similar background to be a Strategic Finance business partner to the APAC leadership team. In a hybrid finance and strategy role, you will support ad hoc strategic projects for APAC leadership, help manage the APAC GTM (Go-to Market) budget, and build global best practices for the Finance organisation in international projects.

- Be a key Finance business partner for APAC leadership
- Analyze financial and sales operational data and metrics to make strategic recommendations to help the business in APAC grow and be successful
- Gain wide exposure across the organization as you work on key ad hoc strategic initiatives
- Help build the foundations of FP&A in APAC in partnership with the APAC Finance Senior Director and leadership in APAC - you must be comfortable handling large data and creating reports from scratch - excellent data analysis, Excel, and reporting skills are a must
- Roll-up your sleeves on some data crunching activities, cross-functional initiatives and assist in ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
- Create analysis and presentations for strategic initiatives across the organization including business cases for additional investments and annual & long-range planning
- Help automate our manual reporting processes and improve existing reports
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 7+ years experience in consulting, investment banking, equity research or FP&A is preferred although we will consider candidates with experience analysing both financial and operational metrics
- Ability to work across cultures and communicate between stakeholders in APAC, AMS, and EMEA
- Strong work ethic and the willingness, composure and flexibility to work across time zones and deliver on multiple conflicting priorities especially during busy periods including but not limited to month-end, quarter-end, annual planning and long range planning processes
- Be a self-starter: make connections with leadership, uncover and understand the needs of stakeholders, ask the right questions, navigate roadblocks and create your own analysis and recommendations
- Synthesize complex data and clearly articulate insight to an executive audience
- Understanding of fundamental finance and accounting acumen and industry trends including data modeling, data analytics, forecasting, interpreting financial statements, and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to partner with all levels of the organization.
