Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Application Performance Management Specialist to join our cloud solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of our cloud-based applications to ensure high availability and optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage APM tools to monitor application performance in real-time, identifying bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Analyze performance metrics and logs to provide insights into application behavior, and recommend optimizations.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring seamless application delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies for application optimization, including caching, load balancing, and resource allocation.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of performance benchmarks, findings, and improvement recommendations.
- Generate regular performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in APM and cloud technology, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in application performance management, preferably in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency with APM tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture and microservices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
