Application Analyst

Main responsibilities

Responsible for the functional knowledge

. Write detailed specifications/US in line with the list of requirements provided

. Liaise with business for clarification and understanding of requirements

. Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints with technical lead's help

. Explain and work closely with the developers for the implementation of change/evolutions

Responsible for the functional testing of development

. Create tests and define tests strategy in coordination with project manager / Others Business Analysts

. Conduct continuous testing in development environment for development monitoring

Involved in support of application for functional incident

. 3rd level support work on request escalated from level 2

. Reproduce, make initial analysis and investigate by verifying data on the database or GUI

. Analyze and/or solve functional problems in coordination with developers

Job Requirements:

. Minimum 6 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst from requirements gathering, solution planning, testing and documentation

. Proven experience in testing (writing, executing and monitoring test) particularly in managing of end-to-end testing for application releases

. Good knowledge of all phases of IT software development

. Capable to coordinate with both business and technical teams

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to answer to business needs

. Excellent communication skills

. Proactive and result-oriented

. Has strong sense of responsibility and commitment

. Collaborative team player and is willing to share knowledge

Functional

. Corporate finance knowledge

. Experience on project management is a plus

Technical

. Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira and Azure TFS

. Knowledge and practical usage of SQL

. Exposure to API development is a plus
