Cash Management and Corporate Banking Services (CCS) Department

Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of software systems in the department.
- Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.
- Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept or solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
- Plan, Execute and Monitor the right level of software factory in order to ensure an excellent quality of development and conformance to functional and Quality-Of-Service requirements.
- Define the expected level of Quality-Of-Service in term of regulation and compliance, security, cloud-readiness, operability, observability, etc.
- Identify, evaluate and report issues and risks to ensure corrective and/or preventive measures are timely taken.
- Manage the application designs, involve in hands on development of solutions.
- Evaluate existing and emerging technologies on a regular basis.
- Contribute to the improvement of developer experience of the department.
- Ensure comprehensive technical documention.
- You will ensure the performance of the delivered products and adherence with bank policies.
Qualifications and Profile
This position requires a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experiences in application and solution design.
- Must have excellent analytical skills together with an open mind.
- Solid understanding of design patterns and architectural patterns.
- Proficient in both verbal and written, with the skill to effectively convey ideas to diverse audience and inspire action.
- Must have a passion for coding and strong commitment to producing high quality designs.
- Should demonstrate a drive for continuous improvement in both software development and design practices.
Required Skills
Technical
- Minimum 10+ years experience application design & development using Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, Typescript or Rust.
- Strong ability to explain hard to grasp concepts.
- Strong knowledge on source code management tools such as Git.
- Experience with building continuous integration and continuous deployment system.
- Experience of working in TDD and BDD environment with standard testing frameworks.
- Excellent knowledge on designing distributed systems.
- Very good understanding of application system design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance using UML.
- Ability to assess interdependence and impact of a change at application level.
- Solid understanding of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Functional
