organ McKinley is seeking for an Application Developer for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Scala, Java, Kotlin, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React JS.
- Design RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Utilize Spark SQL and work with relational/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
- Collaborate in cloud environments (Azure, Databricks) and manage source code with Git.
- Engage in Agile development practices, participating in scrum ceremonies.
- Knowledge of core banking systems is desired familiarity with the Banking Tax domain is a plus.
- Adhere to clean coding practices and implement Test Driven Development.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in JVM-based languages (Scala, Java, Kotlin) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS).
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices.
- Familiarity with databases (MongoDB/Cosmos DB) and cloud platforms (Azure/Databricks).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and core banking operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
