Application Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Application Developer with a strong background in cloud environments, JVM-based languages, and web application development. This role requires proficiency in Flowable, Scala, Java, Kotlin, React.js, and expertise in building microservices and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate is well-versed in agile methodologies, follows clean coding principles, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality software solutions on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Flowable, JVM-based languages (Scala, Java, Kotlin), and web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js).
• Create and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless application integration and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
• Manage and collaborate on source code with Git and ensure consistent, high-quality coding standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code in adherence to clean coding practices and software design principles.
• Develop and execute Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, designing Unit, Integration, and Functional tests to ensure robust application performance.
• Apply Design Patterns to streamline the development process and ensure maintainable, high-performance software architecture.
• Actively engage in Backlog Refinement sessions to provide technical insights and improve project planning.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for system optimization and proactively implementing solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud environments and web applications.
• Strong command of Flowable and JVM-based languages (Scala, Java, Kotlin).
• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js) and RESTful API design.
• Experience with Source Code Management tools like Git.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience participating in Scrum ceremonies.
• Familiarity with Clean Code principles and a commitment to clean coding practices.
• Proficient in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and developing Unit, Integration, and Functional tests.
• Solid understanding of Design Patterns and their applications in software architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
