Application Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Application Developer to support the Team for development and implementation.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field;
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, JavaScript, UNIX scripting, and SQL;
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, and similar frameworks;
• Familiarity with development practices in both Unix and Windows operating systems;
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and SNMP protocols;
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Desired Skill-set

• Knowledgewith coding andnetwork management andNagios, ELK Stack, or Netbrain;
• Knowledge ofLAN/WAN products, particularly from Cisco and Arista.

Responsibilities

• Assist the network team in implementing automation projects for network provisioning and monitoring;
• Create and maintain dashboards to enhance monitoring capabilities;
• Manage and ensure the functionality of network monitoring systems and tools;
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot programs using appropriate hardware, databases, and programming languages;
• Work with system APIs for integration purposes andpresentation;
• Revise existing programs by updating flow charts and developing detailed logic.
• Analyze program performance and make improvements in coordination with users and supervisors;
• Collaborate with users fornecessary modifications;
• Address inquiries regarding program objectives, data input/output requirements, and internal checks;
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all programs and systems;
• Ensure the protection of all processed, stored, or accessed information;
• Document programming issues and their resolutions for future reference;
• Provide technical assistance to other departments as required;
• Offer direct assistance to users and be available for 24/7 on-call support.
