- Be the Single Point of Contact for all matters related to setting up, maintaining, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting the AVEVA NET system.
- Coordinate with the engineering disciplines assigned to the project and work closely with project management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations, and the construction team. Meet or, where possible, exceed on-time deliverables while maintaining quality and safety in each activity.
- Establish and maintain the creation of a Class Library and define its structure and mapping techniques in ISM.
- Develop efficient data capture, validation, loading and handover work processes to meet Client/Project schedule requirements.
- Establish new project portals that effectively reflect client/project class libraries, data structure, and handover requirements.
- Ongoing Gateway configuration, maintenance, and development of AVEVA NET portals.
- Generation of Query Forms, SSRS and BI reports communicating data discrepancies, omissions, completion trending and status.
- Raise the profile of information management and create a data-centric culture via effective portal development and deployment.
- Shall be capable of developing work instructions for users of AVEVA NET.
- Must understand company goals and implement management directives and policies.
- Anticipate potential problems and take preventive actions.
- Support the Product Manager in planning and delivering AVEVA NET solutions on projects.
- Shall train users on the AVEVA NET application in projects.
- Interface with all disciplines to clarify/explain AVEVA NET intent and suggest alternatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of company work methodology/procedures.
- Conclude all open issues amicably.
- Work closely with the AVEVA application engineers, E3D administrators, and the IM team to ensure the smooth execution and delivery of AVEVA NET solutions on projects.
- Assist in fault diagnosis and deployment of fixes in support of implementation work.
- Interact with pre-ops/Operations/Clients as required.
- Guide Applications Engineers and inform appropriate parties at the proper time.
- Understand interface issues related to AVEVA Engineering systems and actively manage them.
- Develop relationships with client technical or service personnel and encourage feedback from all directions.
Requirements:
Certification: Training in AVEVA NET administration
- Possess at least 5 years of experience applying AVEVA NET in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas areas or FPSO line(s).
- AVEVA NET/AIM and AVEVA ISM administration and implementation.
- Proficient in exception handling between the AVEVA system with associated Gateways and the Client system
- Extensive knowledge of AVEVA registers gateway interface with Client system.
- Experience in mapping Company data and document structures to Client structures. Have an in-depth understanding of FEED & Detailed Design deliverables, their execution methodology and their interdependencies with one another.
- Have previous experience in engineering information management.
- Possess previous experience with AVEVA Net Portal and ISM development and administration skills on Oil & Gas Projects, specifically for Major Capital Projects.
- Knowledge of Engineering Design software like AVEVA E3D and AVEVA Engineering is a plus.
- Possesses good working knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry, including EPCs and owner-operators (preferred but not mandatory).
