Position Overview
The Application Support Engineer provide technical support for Technical Dry Run (TDR) and supports the investigation involving key technologies and application domains.
The candidate is responsible in complex problems requiring technology skillset or domain / workflow related experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain TDR documentation and guides. Develop supporting documentation for all TDR activities
- Assist in implementation of TDR for institutions as part of deployment activities
- Assist in documentation of key application workflows
- Assist in training new members of the team for TDR activities
- Assist in investigation of complex user reported issues during TDR and provide support before and during go-live
- Develop mitigating and/or preventive solutions as part of TDR activities
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
- 3-5 yrs of Technical / Application Support experience on multi technology platforms
- Strong Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
- Proven experience supporting Web / Client based applications
- Strong technical problem solving skills and has the drive to understand and provide solutions to complex technical problems
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Must be able to track the timeline closely for planned activities
- Must be able to work as a team and have good communication skills
