About Us
Our client, is a leading investment manager in Asia, a multi-strat fund with a focus on Macro. They are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role will focus on providing technical support for our vendor applications, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance to meet the needs of our investment teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the performance of vendor applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to implement enhancements and upgrades.
- Provide user support and training for application-related queries.
- Document processes, issues, and solutions for future reference.
- Participate in application testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in application support, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of vendor applications and multi-asset investment strategies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus.
- Familiarity with database management, SQL, and scripting languages is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
