ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and designers to create functional, safe, and innovative structures
• Develop detailed architectural designs using CAD software
• Analyze and select appropriate construction materials
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and architectural standards
• Test building systems and components to identify potential design improvements
• Oversee and inspect construction projects to ensure adherence to design specifications
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
• Report on project status to stakeholders regularly
• Keep updated with new design methodologies and tools

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Architectural Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of CAD software and other architectural design tools
• Good understanding of building physics and architectural design principles
• Knowledge of construction methods and building materials
• Project management skills
• Familiarity with safety standards and building codes
• BSc degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering or relevant field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
