Art Specialist

Job Description:

• Plan and implement enrichment lessons in accordance to lesson plans
• Document children's learning and development
• Enhance and maintain programme progress records
• Support centres in various activities and when necessary
• Support Enrichment team in lesson implementation when required
• Manages communications with principals to coordinate classes
• Support in preparation of communication content for families
• Assist in planning for camps and workshops
• Assist in inventory tracking, maintenance and purchasing of required enrichment resources/ materials
• Assist in adhoc projects when required
• Lead/ Facilitate in company and centre projects
• Participate in research and development of training content for teachers and principals
• Participate in conducting trainings for teachers and principals
• Research and curate teaching and learning resources for teachers and children

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Visual Communication/ Fine Arts/ sports science or equivalent area of study
• Bonus: Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Education
• Preferably 1 year of experience with working with pre-schoolers
• Passionate and able to engage comfortably with children 1.5 to 6 years old
• Language proficiency: good command of English
• Excellent creativity, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills
• Team player with ability to work independently
• Candidate must be willing to teach both Art and Sports enrichment
• Candidate must be willing to conduct lessons in an outdoor environment
• Candidate must be willing to travel island-wide to conduct lessons
