LOVE, NILS is a Singapore-registered IPC charity our mission is to provide high quality supportive programmes that provide meaningful psychosocial support to our beneficiaries - children with cancer and their families. Our mission is to provide them with much needed healthcare guidance, emotional care plus social and community support that will enable them to thrive.
We are seeking full time / part time licenced Art Therapists to join us to deliver both individual and group art therapy sessionsas part of LOVE, NILS Art Therapy Programmes. These sessions relieve isolation and provide a safe and inclusive environment for children with cancer and their families to express their feelings.
Reports to: Programme & Strategy Manager
Work setting: Majority in hospitals, sometimes online or at community and open art spaces
Compensation: Basic monthly + yearly performance bonus
Responsibilities
Deliver art therapy sessions at our partner hospitals and community-based sessions under our Art Therapy Programmes:
- Maintain consistent and safe workspace practices when delivering the art sessions
- Able to conduct art therapy sessions in individual and group settings, both online and in person
- Plan and curate monthly thematic art kit activities for our home-based beneficiaries, including procurement of art supplies
- Maintain patient records and evaluation in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore
- Collect programme data - including feedback, testimonials and surveys - for impact analysis, annual report and programme evaluation
- Provide solutions to improve the art therapy sessions and framework
RequirementsQualifications
- A degree in Art Therapy from local or overseas educational institution
- Professional membership in Art Therapist Association Singapore (ATAS) and/or AUS-NZ-Asia-Creative Art Therapist Association (ANZACATA)
- Relevant work experience as an Art Therapist, full-time or contract

Others
- Flexible to work occasional weekends and evenings (time off in lieu will be given)
- As this role requires the Art Therapist to enter the hospital wards, the candidate will need to show proof of vaccination records as per hospital guidelines (includes vaccinations for mumps, measles, rubella, pertussis and chicken pox)
