Firestone Bakery specialises in high-quality Artisan Sourdoughs and Viennoiseries made from all natural and premium ingredients using traditional methods. We're looking for passionate and hardworking bakers to join and expand our family!
- No bread baking experience required for Junior Bakers.
Experienced candidates will be considered for more senior roles.
Perform day-to-day baking operations as per SOP- Prepare and produce Breads, Viennoiseries and/or other items on schedule
Follow proper handling and right temperature of all food products
- Monitor, check, and receive stocks for ingredients
Minimise the wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items- Manage and maintain hygiene standards as per SFA requirements
Must be able to read and follow recipes- Possess attention to detail and problem solving skill
Be familiar with standard kitchen equipment (mixers, dough sheeters, blenders)
- Be able to work with other team members
Possess good inventory management- Be able to work on Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays
Preferraly have experience in working in a professional kitchen setting
Interest in food science
Creative and have good interpersonal skills- Proactive in giving and receiving constructive feedback
