Assistance Manager, Accounting & Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end closing (i.e. preparation of reporting pack - P&L, BS, Note to P&L & BS)
• Responsible for annual financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards and local tax filling.
• Responsible for FX hedging report and valuation accounting related to commodities industry.
• Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise junior accounting staff and providing guidance in accounting tasks.
• Act as a finance in charge to handle various queries from the operations.
• Handle government surveys and ensuring the timely and accurate submission.
• Identify opportunities for improving financial and accounting processes, controls, and systems.
• Any other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance / Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 6 to 8 years of experience in handling full sets of account independently.
• Proficient bilingual written and verbal communication skills as one needs to manage our English and Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Proficient in SAP system.
• Analytical and attention to detail.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive, responsible and committed team player.
• Working Experience in Commodity industry is an advantage.
