Assist the Head of the Brand in merchandising, inventory management and channel/ retail store management functions of the assigned brands.
Responsibilities:
- Attend seasonal sales meetings and plan merchandise assortment with category mix and range planning based on OTB and historical data.
- Formulate pricing strategies based on target GP% and conduct comparison analysis against regional and competitors pricing.
- Coordinate shipment schedules with overseas and internal shipping departments according to a payment plan.
- Execute allocation and manage the consolidation of stocks.
- Review sales by channel and plan marketing calendar to achieve sales and GP targets.
- Review inventory and propose action plans for slow-moving merchandise.
- Liaise with the marketing department to execute promotion strategies in line with product launches.
- Build strong rapport and open communication with the retail team.
- Provide advice to create an optimal retail brand experience through VM change and regular store visits.
- Conduct seasonal product training for the retail team.
- Analyse sales results and prepare management reports for monthly reporting.
- Conduct market research to keep up-to-date on industry trends and competitors strategies.
- Support in events or new shop openings.
- Manage & lead team members under direct supervision on their assigned responsibilities.
- Any other duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years working experience in a Buyer or Merchandising role.
- Proven ability in sales & order forecasting and inventory management for multiple brands.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical, organised and possess an eye for detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work individually as well as in a team environment.
- An interest in outdoor sports or learning the technical aspects of products would be an added advantage.
