Job Scope of Assistant Coordinator
Perform financial counselling and basic hearing aid counselling for patients.
Conduct triaging for all patients referred for hearing aid and tinnitus management services.
Manage all related allied health administrative paperwork and appointments.
Process and track all hearing aid orders, delivery, and invoices.
Ensure proper and smooth application and tracking of relevant fundings for needy patients who need hearing aids.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned.
Qualification:
Possess at least a NITEC or equivalent education certification with relevant discipline.
Experience:
Fresh graduates are welcome. Clinical experience not required.
Previous experience working in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 3 to 6 months on-the-job training supervised by a Coordinator is required.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Can work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Possess a passion for helping people with hearing loss and other disabilities.
