Overview
Reporting directly to the Group Chief Technology Officer at NUHS, you will serve as a senior leader overseeing multiple high-impact projects and a team of junior project managers within the NUHS cluster. Your primary focus will be on the implementation and integration of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) models, Large Language Models (LLMs), data analytics, and complex infrastructure projectsincluding on-premises and cloud systems and cloud migration initiatives. You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching the project management team, developing and enhancing Project Management Office (PMO) infrastructure and processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects using agile methodologies and tools like JIRA. Additionally, you will maintain strategic stakeholder relations, ensure compliance with quality and security standards, and contribute to the overall technology strategy within NUHS.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a diverse portfolio of projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budgets, and scopes.
- Establish and enhance the Project Management Office (PMO) frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to improve project delivery and governance.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior project managers, fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders across clinical, administrative, and IT departments, acting as a key liaison.
- Provide expert guidance on AI, ML, LLM, data analytics, and complex infrastructure projects, including both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Champion agile methodologies across the organization, leading agile transformation initiatives and promoting the use of tools like JIRA.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and optimize resource allocation, adjusting project spending as necessary.
- Develop and maintain PMO infrastructure, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the entire project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards and comply with AI governance, security protocols, and regulatory requirements, overseeing all testing phases (SIT & UAT).
- Manage vendor relationships, oversee SRB processes, and ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards.
- Contribute to the overall technology strategy of NUHS, providing insights and recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Serve as the Project Lead for cloud migration initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, and successful deployment.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Group Chief Technology Officer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, ideally a Master's degree, in IT, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within healthcare IT projects.
- Deep understanding of AI, ML, LLM technologies, data analytics, and experience managing both on-premises and cloud infrastructure projects.
- Proven leadership abilities with significant experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing project management teams.
- Extensive experience with agile methodologies and proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
