You will be responsible to provide administrative support and coordination in aid of clinical staff in the establishment of new clinical services or enhancements of existing clinical services in accordance with the hospital's mission and vision, as well as assist clinical departments in the implementation of their Medical Action Plans (MAPs) through budget control of medical equipment purchases.
Responsibilities:
- Engage end users / stakeholders in and coordinate the setup / reorganization of clinical services with view to facilitate operationalization
- Prepare, advise on and coordinate Levels of Medical Capability applications for hospital where directed by management
- Participate in and contribute to cross functional meetings involved in governance activities
- Coordinate and facilitate annual planning cycle activities related to MAP development
- Draft, review and monitor contracts related to sale / procurement of clinical services
- Oversee and manage visiting appointments and other inter-institutional clinician engagements
- Manage capital expenditure budgets for medical equipment including oversight of budget utilization and sourcing
- Plan for, budget, arrange the acquisition and organise training activities for build up of important work-related competencies through structured course work
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- At least 7 years experience in healthcare management
- Prior experience in contracting work and/or healthcare regulation would be a bonus
- Fluent in English (both oral and written)
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Self motivated with a lot of initiative
- Meticulous and detailed oriented
