Assistant Director (Corporate Finance)
In this role, you will:
Oversee financial reporting (including statutory reporting), asset management, treasury, tax and budget/forecast functions
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Lead in annual budget exercise and forecast reporting. Oversee the preparation, monitoring and management of budgets
Provide financial insights to support decision making and business planning. Prepare reports to various stake holders
Serve as a key advisor on corporate finance matters
Review corporate finance processes / policies to ensure proper internal controls. Propose and initiate improvements to work processes to enhance efficiency
Drive transformation efforts, which include streamlining and digitalisation of corporate finance processes, automation and ERP upgrade
Lead and mentor team members to achieve high performance and continuous improvement
Undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy
Strong proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards. Familiarity with SAP Financials is an advantage
At least 15 years of working experience in relevant area
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details. Ability to interpret financial data and develop actionable insights.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Agile and open to change.
