Overview
To head the Communications team at NUHS RHSO and drive the overall strategy to brand, create awareness and sustain engagement with external and internal stakeholders, and the community to achieve targets. Develop an integrated communications strategy and conceptualise campaigns to promote NUHS RHSO population health efforts, initiatives, programmes, and events. This includes the production of a full suite of collaterals, publicity materials, newsletters, and digital and social media content to be disseminated over various communication platforms. Be the key lead to coordinate national, cluster and RHSO population and community Health and Healthier SG communications efforts.
Key Responsibilities

- An integrated communications plan incorporating initiatives/ campaigns, platforms, timeline and targets.
- Establish appropriate KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the communication initiatives/ campaigns, and the platforms and tools used.
- Ensure that NUHS RHSO communication plans/ targets align with the over-arching NUHS Work Plan.
- Manage the production of the full suite of collaterals, publicity materials, newsletters, and digital and social media content, including content creation and curation when necessary.
- Develop collaterals like brochures, newsletters, and digital and social media content.
- Manage the digital and social media platforms to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish appropriate KPIs to measure the reach and gather feedback.
- Draft and/review talking points, speeches and memos for events and/or media profiling.
- Work with Group Communications (media) to develop and facilitate stories for media opportunities.
- Work with Group Communications (media) to develop crises management plan.
- Provide timely response to media enquiries.
- Organise and/or support internal and external events.
- Organise and/or support GP engagements to increase enrolment into population health initiatives.
- Manage team development and engagement.
- Manage operational and training budgets for RHSO.
- Be the key lead to coordinate national and cluster Healthier SG communications efforts.
Job Requirements
- A Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related fields, with at least 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong knowledge of integrated communication practices and techniques creative, able to think out of the box and explore new channels of outreach and messaging to build brand awareness, loyalty and experience.
- Analytical, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to handle multiple projects, able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities and able to mentor junior team members
- Able to engage and provide sound counsel to leadership / management staff
- Adept in people skills to foster collaboration from all divisions within the cluster as well as external partners and stakeholders.
- Proven experience / track record in creating targeted content is advantageous.
- Experience in the Singapore healthcare system advantageous but not mandatory.
- Good knowledge effective communication channels and tools.
- At least 3 years of experience mentoring a team.
