Responsible for day to day project supervision for conversion, repairs of commercial or naval vessels
To ensure safety, quality of work and meet delivery deadline
To ensure work assigned is carried out effectively and productively within budgeted man-hours allocated by CSR, meet customer's specifications and requirements
Accountable for the team of workers and sub-contractors under his responsibility and also the overall progress of the repair projects
Ensure good co-ordination and communication between your work team, SRM, other departments and owners when work is carried out.
Requirements:
NTC in Electrical or Mechatronics related fields
Minimal 5 years relevant experience in ship repairs or conversion environment
Able to interpret electrical schematic diagrams
Able to read technical / construction drawings for both accommodation and HVAC
Understanding of electrical equipments and its functionality
Experienced in carrying out system testing with commissioning team
Experienced in ship repairs works under tight schedules
Possess SSSC will be advantageous
Experienced in man-management of workers and contractors
Able commit to OT based on project deadlines
Willing to rotate for overseas posting every 1 to 2 years
