Assistant Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and testing of gas detector, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations. Training and professional development opportunities will be provided.

Job Description

• Servicing of Gas Detectors and other measuring equipment.
• Ability to trouble-shoot of different brand Gas Detectors and other measuring equipment.
• Testing of Gas Detectors and other measuring equipment.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure committed service work scopes are executed without business interruption.
• Certificates generation and Report generating on all service-related activities.
• Adhere to all legal, customers and company's safety protocol, rules, and regulations, ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment and property, and housekeeping.

For this role, you will need to maintain a good relationship with customers to always achieve positive customers satisfaction. The Department Manager and/or Snr. Lead Engineer will assign ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

A team player and work closely with the technical team.

On-the-Job training will be provided, and in-house/principal training will be arranged for the successful hired.

Job Requirement

• Min. Nitec in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering discipline.
• Preferably with 1 year of working experience in Gas Detector servicing or maintenance. However, fresh candidates with no relevant experience are welcome to apply!
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn. Good working attitude. A team player.
• Possessing a Class 3 driving license is a plus.
